AX99' NAFUDA:

3 Days of AX99':

From Beginning to...Withdrawal?

"NAFUDA formed in 97' - actually the originals were Tyson, Bryan, and Maurice...a funny story too. They were listening to the japanese Genesis Survivor song I think, before they knew what they were listening to, and misunderstood the beginning exclamation which sounded like a samarai cry "NAFUDAAAA!!!" Well, they started shouting it out and then as a joke they put it on their AX97' badges under "Group/Association". Later on at AX on Saturday when I showed up (my first year at AX) I found out about the whole thing. Shortly after, Tyson found out it meant "nametag" in Japanese and that that wasn't what was being shouted in the song at all, but the name stuck and so did the pun when it was put on the badges.;) We've happily been "Nametag" ever since." ~Adrianne Grady

NAFUDA gather for AX traditional launch @ "5:45am" Friday infront of Target

Karaoke madness-- 6 straight hours of Karaoke and all we got was stupid "How to Karaoke Books". I'm insulted!*storms out of webpage grinning then walks back in* But this is me singing "Get Along" from Slayers with Virgil dancing behind me.

We had to survive. Actually with no drinking water in the rooms or containers to put even tap water in, we were happily forced to find more creative ways.
